Isn't the remote station at Albany ? OF84xx grid? I see some reports from this grid.
I see these reports below but it seems to be too far in distance? or wrong grid? Unless the remote is near Perth? Hence I didn't include these as the grid seemed incorrect? Can you verify whats happening please?

Thanks for putting the station on 2m WSPR, thats great.
I keep saying, it would be excellent if we could get a 2m WSPR enabled beacon from Esperance, something like the ZL1SIX beacon that ZL1RS is running, but probably on an omni. If u have any way of getting something happening up there it would be great, and show a lot more paths west from east as its within 1 hop E range for a lot of people.

you have a better chance of winning Lotto, unfortunately Esperance is just too far away to do anything with.

I think this kind of thinking sometimes is easy to get into. Anything is possible including with the recent advancement with digital modes... a lot goes unnoticed simply because amateurs aren't on air.

Hi Hayden,
I didn't plan to sound or come across as negative and don’t disagree that anything is possible with motivated, skilled people, sufficient time & money.
It would be nice to have something out there, but the distance out to Esperance is not too dissimilar to the distances between Adelaide - Melbourne, Melbourne - Sydney or Sydney - Brisbane. Except for the very keen VHF/UHF DX’er retirees, I can’t think how many others would be prepared to drive or fly those kind of distances to install or maintain beacon equipment for the next 5 or 10 years; there just isn't the same number of active amateurs found in the more populous states. As one of the most remote cities in the world, the reality in VK6 is there are repeaters within 200kms of Perth that have been waiting years for repairs, installations & upgrades, and not for a lack of money.
Best Regards,
Rob...
