The issue
We’ve released draft changes to the Amateur Operator’s Certificate of Proficiency Foundation Syllabus.
These changes were recommended by the Syllabus Review Panel, which is made up of representatives of the ACMA, the Australian Maritime College (AMC) and the amateur radio user community. The ACMA established the panel as part of the Deed between the ACMA and the AMC.
The panel’s initial focus has been on changes to align the foundation syllabus with the amended Radiocommunications Licence Conditions (Amateur Licence) Determination.
