DMR: New repeaters for Melbourne - VK3RX - 31-07-2017 This below FYI from ARVIC the other day, and I understand VK3RPS at Mt. Cottrell is now a DMR unit operating in digital only mode. Not much happening on P25 around Melbourne now, so DMR might liven things up a bit. From my listening throughout the day, VK3RMM Mt. Macedon when analogue only could go for a week or so without any traffic, apart from button pushers. Quote:On a rather cold and windy day Peter Brennan VK3TE assisted by ARV Volunteers attended Mt Macedon to commission the new Multi Mode FM/DMR repeater. |
