'POLLY' IS BACK IN SERVICE - VK2BLS - 13-05-2022 Update, VK2RPMĀ 23CM, 'Store & Forward' Simplex repeater is back in service again. (AKA "Polly") 1296.850 FM Simplex. Located at Maddens Plains south of Sydney. It has a long Ident each 10 Mins that can help you find it. Even if no one is around, it is stil handy for checking your own 23CM signal. Also plays back your data modes, eg SSTV works well. Give it a Go sometime. 73 Darrell RE: 'POLLY' IS BACK IN SERVICE - VK2ZIW - 13-05-2022 I'm 70Km away at Emu Heights (up only 10m) and it's usually S3 on my IC-120. Sometimes it's 20/9. Antenna here: 60deg corner reflector made from a Bunno 600 x 900 handysheet of 25mm mesh. and, with 600mm vertically, room for two dipoles. Maybe 15dbi. 0x73 Alan |
