Positive, I guess.

This concerns me:
Mr Gibson said the small size of WICEN NSW limited their ability to assist, but the work they had been doing was excellent.

"Since November 9, the WICEN group has completed 2,900 hours of radio communications, and that was only done by 30 members," Mr Gibson said.

I suppose I should get off my backside and look into it.
Well had a look at the WICEN NSW website.

Sadly underwhelming and lacking in useful information. I did glean that you need to be proposed and seconded by people that you know and then send in a paper application - sounds like the RSL in the bad old days.

And it does appear that there is no unit/team/group near here.

Well I can say I looked, I guess.
