Ozy Radio, from the Campbelltown area south west of Sydney, is currently off air.  They are moving to 4.935MHz AM.

Start up date unknown.

Meanwhile the 4KZ Innisfail relay on 5.055MHz AM is still active, although very weak most of the time here.

Radio Vanuatu still off air on 7.260MHz AM owing to blown finals in the Port Vila transmitter, will be back on air when replacement finals arrive and installed.

Radio Happy Isles (SIBC) in Honiara, Solomon Islands on 5.020MHz AM was off air the last couple of nights for reasons unknown too.

Heaps of good African loggings to be found 4 to 7MHz in the early hours to sunrise, Eritrea, Somalia, Sudan, Botswana, Nigeria and Liberia all noted this week plus India (AIR) as well as some relays of prominent broadcasters (BBC etc) from Mauritius and Middle Eastern sites.

Thanks for the update and its good to hear some are filling the void left by Radio Australia for those in the far outback.

VHF FM fades out about 20-30km out of the major centres so these H.F broadcasts will be welcomed.
Ozy Radio doing well here in Sunny Adelaide.

4835 kHz, they took over the old ABC slot, since the Gubbermint are too scungy to run a radio Tx.

Look em up on Radcomms.

Even Niigera has a SW broadcaster, we are a third world country.

Ozy Radio doing quite well on 4.835MHz AM, plus 20dB over here during darkness and around 5X7 during the day, have heard they are now running 1.0Kw?

The 4KZ relay on 5.055MHz struggles most days this way, think they are still only running 500 watts, then again, it's not meant to be a prominent SW broadcaster, just a "local" service to outback VK4 and VK8.

One station that does very well here is the Japanese station on 3.480MHz AM, NHK Japan, always strong and good indicator of propagation situation to Asia.

Has any one heard Noumea on 666KHz AM?  Been looking for that one but no luck, despite the fact New Zealand MW stations are belting in most evenings this way.
