Does anyone know if the above mentioned beacon is operating correctly?
My observations indicate that it is about 150Hz high with spurii either side.
Other carriers I observe are clean.
I am using WSJTX in WSPR mode to check.

Hi Steve.
Yes, I know it keys sideways, but not continuously either side.

The Mt. Anakie 2m beacon is currently free-running due to having lost its GPS lock. Whenever there is a power failure, the beacon reverts to its internal reference but does not resume GPS lock when power is restored (the TX is an ex-paging transmitter and that's how it was designed - go figure!). Careful observation of its carrier will reveal a slight warble which is the beat note between its internal reference and the GPS reference. This is one of the many "to do" jobs at its site. Unfortunately, we don't have access to the site due to some protracted administrative disputes beyond out control.

Thanks Chas,
I had an inkling something was wrong, either that or the Chinese TCXO in my FT817 had gone to god!
I hope you have success in fixing it.
