VK2RSY 23CM beacon has been off air for over 2 years now.

Does anyone have info about its current situation or return?

I have emailed Mark a few times. no replies, all thats required is a small vertical on the shed roof, at least its something.
thats too hard apparently.
we just have to keep waiting, i have a second large dish by the house thats been up and working for a few years, but without a beacon to aim with its not really useable for 23 on 23, its too sharp without an aiming point (3 degree lobe)

Maddens 23cm parrot repeater idents a long ident quite often. Is that useful?

As you know, I'm at Emu Heights some 70Km away, 40m ASL and hear it with my IC-120
and a corner reflector. I can trigger it most tomes, so ask by phone if you need it triggered.
