Over the last 2 years I have been a convert of the STEP DRILL for work on sheet metal as it actually cuts a round hole unlike the traditional twist bit..   j

Our local Mens Shed has the Forstner bits and the do make a nice hole.

Likewise with Step drills - been using those for years.
