BEACONS 28.205.8
I would like to let everyone know of a new ten metre band beacon that has been operating for the last 6 months or so, about 27 Kilometres N/W of Brisbane City at the my home QTH, I'm Robert VK4LA.
The beacon is Located In Northlakes and is homebrew . It operates using callsign VK4LA and is on 28.205.8 cw.
The beacon consists of a 5 watt Transmitter with a 1/2 wave vertical antenna 35ft off the ground.
I would appreciate some signal reports from all who can hear it.
