Update.
The solar system has been running since early March and I am pleased to report that I cannot detect an increase in background noise.
The inverter is an ABB/Fimer.

The system I am looking at does not use micro inverters. The next size up uses power optimisers on each panel which bypass the panel if it is shaded, thereby effective... |

Interestingly, some security updates download and install regardless.
The only other option is to stop all updates, then let them rip when you feel like it!

You will get many suggestions but some will say the same thing so I used that.
